His Eminence the 2nd Thuksey Rinpoche
The First Thuksey Rinpoche was a great master of the Drukpa Lineage, and guru to the present Gyalwang Drukpa. A revered teacher in Ladakh, our first buildings were built under his guidance. The second incarnation of Thuksey Rinpoche was born in Ladakh to a nomadic family and continues this involvement with the school.

Richard Gere:
Richard Gere is an American film actor and is a well-known Buddhist and an active supporter of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He is a keen supporter of Tibetan cultural preservation and has served on the Board of Directors for the International Campaign for Tibet.
Joanna Lumley OBE FRGS:
Joanna Lumley is a British actress who was born in Kashmir. She is a campaigner for the preservation of Tibetan culture and has an interest in and concern about environmental matters, sponsoring the Joanna Lumley Fellowship in Environmental Science at the University of Oxford.
The Viscount & Viscountess Cowdray:
"We are pleased to support the good work of the Druk White Lotus School. The Ladakhi children benefit hugely from the school, in communities where schooling would otherwise not be available.
